TerryValle Vista Is a Riders Community

Valle Vista is the life's work of Terry Cardin. His vision is to make horse riding available to all. At Valle Vista Stables the rates are purposefully accessible to anyone who wants to ride. The stable is an inclusive community where everyone learns to do their part. No prima-donnas here, this is for those who love horses and love to ride.

Terry is an all-breed trainer teaching Western & English riding for over 30 years. He has trained and ridden successful Regional World Champion Qualified Horses. Valle Vista riders consistently place well in the local Arabian Association shows on their own horses or those readily available from the stable. With a speciality in Arabian/Quarter Horses Terry's skills also translate to any breed. Terry has made horse riding accessible to all and helps those that want to extend their skills and achieve personal riding goals.

Terry believes in the power of horse riding to heal and that is why he teaches special needs riders. Because he is the only special needs trainer who teaches on the trails, Terry is in a unique position to bring the full horse riding experience to those who may not normally have the opportunity. Unfortunately due to legal restriction this applies only to students who are not wheelchair bound. Children as young as 4 years are taught riding skills, in the ring or on the trail with care and attention. For many of Terry's riders their time at Valle Vista is the highlight of the week. It goes without saying that this is always one-on-one with Terry or a qualified instructor.
